On October 17th, 2023 to November 14th, 2023, The Branch of Almond Tree completed our eleventh seminar to Ensenada, Mexico. In collaboration with missionaries, pastors, ministers, and licensed cosmetologists with over half a decade of hairstyling expertise, our non-profit organization has fruitfully bridged a meaningful connection between the Mexican and Korean communities. Through the impartation of invaluable cosmetology skills, our initiative aims to empower the local Mexican community with the requisite tools and education to pursue careers as hairstylists with hair cutting skills, and secure meaningful employment. 2023년 10월 17일부터 2023년 11월 14일까지 Almond Tree Mission 은 멕시코 엔세나다에서 11차 세미나를 마쳤습니다. 선교사, 목회자, 지역 봉사자가 참여하였으며, 전문 지식을 갖춘 오랜 경력의 미용사들이 협력하였습니다. From case managers to grassroots outreach coordinators, we work together to deliver the love of God and provide comprehensive support.
Almond Tree의 미용 세미나를 위하여 강의를 하는 이엘렌, 이 주성, 사라 김, 등의 강사진들은 30년 이상의 오랜 경험의 미용 라이센스 소지자로 현재 타운내에서 미용실을 운영하고 있으며, 함께 협력하고 있는 메이크업 아티스트 역시 한인타운내에서 독보적인 존재로 가장 먼저 남자 메이크업 전문 강사로 활약중인 박지상 목사님으로 구성되어 수준높은 경험자들의 수준있는 강의로 구성, 진행합니다.

The Branch of Almond Tree was founded in 2019 by a team of California Board Certified beauty experts and pastoral counselors.
We help to flourish the confidence and toolkit of missionaries and local churches by equipping them with mental health resources and comprehensive cosmetology skills.

2019년에 설립된 Almond Tree는 해외 선교를 희망하는 사람들에게 사역의 활성화를 위하여 미용 기술을 가르치고 있습니다. 매년 LA에서 1회 Mexico에서 1회, 매년 2회 이상의 미용 세미나를 통하여 선교사와 사역자 그리고 재정이 어려운 분들에게 현실적인 도움을 주고 있습니다.
또한 100세 시대를 향하여 가는 요즈음, 정신건강에 관한 인식 전환을 위하여 정신건강관련 세미나를 하고 있으며, Ensenada in Mexico 선교지에 직접 참여하여 현지인들을 가르치며 자립할수록 있도록 돕는 사역을 한다.
이렇게 함으로써 은사적 재능 개발을 이루어나가며 치유와 회복이 필요한 자들에게는 집중세미나를 통하여 치유와 회복이 이루어지도록 지속적인 관계를 갖으며 하나님을 높이며 사람을 새롭게 세우는 사역을 이루어 갈 것이다.

We held a seminar by providing haircuts and daily necessities to over 25 people. This seminar lasts for 5 weeks and is held every Tuesday, where volunteers start their route to Mexico by waking up at 4AM and leaving Ensenada at 7PM. The local community members have so

Hogar Orphanage in Ensenada, Mexico
Our passionate Branch of Almond Tree volunteers provide quarterly cosmetology lessons to orphans aging out of the foster care system in Ensenada, Mexico to equip them with skills and a certificate necessary as a stepping stone into their future careers.
Gasa Hograr Graduation Ceremony
Casa Hogar Orphanage is located in Ensanada, Mexico. Director Conzuelo introduced eight girls to Almontree and we taught them hair cutting skills. Five weeks later, they had a graduation ceremony. They wore the prettiest dresses that day, congratulated each other, and had a happy graduation ceremony.

LA. Downtown. Homeless Haircut with Father's Table Church
7am on the last Saturday of every month, The Almond Tree Hairdressing Volunteer Team provides haircuts to homeless people in Skid Row, DTLA.

Almond Tree, along with Father's Table Church, heads to Downtown LA to provide haircuts to the homeless people.
The Almond Tree hairdressing team performs local volunteer work in Skid Row, Downtown LA after graduating from the haircut seminar. After field training by providing free haircut services to homeless people, their skills and confidence improved.

As part of our community service pillar, we provide haircuts for parents and students of middle and high schools located in the Los Angeles area. It was a worthwhile volunteer experience to encourage students for a new year of school with fresh hair cuts. No matter where you are, Almontree's haircut and beauty service welcomes and brings joy to everyone.

Teaching Cosmetology
The Branch of Almond tree volunteers regularly visit Bethel Seminary, in Ensenada, Mexico and Koreatown, Los Angeles. After five weeks of taking classes, everyone receives a certificate of completion.
Bethel Seminary, in Ensenada, Mexico
Almond Tree visits Mexico once a year to teach haircutting skills to Bethel Seminary students. We provide beauty equipment to new students and scholarships to graduates. Everyone participates in class enthusiastically and always welcomes us warmly. After completing five weeks of training, they continue to improve their skills by cutting not only their own hair but also each other's hair.

멕시코 엔세나다에서 유아 교육을 전공을 한 'Anet' 은 지역 교회의 어린이 사역자로 섬기고 있다.
그녀는 알몬트리 11기를 통하여 미용 기술을 습득한 후 아이들과 지역 마을 사람들을 위하여 봉사하고 싶다고 하였다.
